Ledesma has more than 3,000 ha destined to orange, grapefruit and lemon crops; fresh fruit which is harvested, processed and sold. With a 10% market share, Ledesma is the highest Argentine exporter of citrus fruits and the main producer of oranges in the country.
Also, since 1990, it has a manufacturing plant in Libertador San Martín for the production of concentrated juice and essential oils with capacity to produce 7,000 tons of juice and 250 tons of oil per year. Our aim is to increase the production of essential oils by 50%; therefore, we have opened a new manufacturing plant of citrus-based oils in 2018.
Essential oils are used as natural flavors in different industries. Ledesma’s fresh fruit can be found in main marketplaces in Argentina, the European Union, Russia and South-East Asia, among others.
As a source of vitamin C and antioxidants, citrus are vital in a healthy and nutritious diet since they facilitate the smooth functioning of the intestinal system and muscular activity. As they include high amounts of natural sugar, they are easily assimilated by the body. Citrus are also rich in water, and promote hydration as one of many other health benefits.

Ledesma and Citrusalta Fruit Farms have been granted the Global Certification GLOBALG.A.P – Risk Assessment on Social Practice, and their Global Gap + Add on Modules are audited on a regular basis.
PACKING PLANT
It currently has ISO 9001:2008 Standards Certification.
It also has the Global Certification GLOBALG.A.P in handling.
