This crop grows again after harvest and is renewed every five or six years. The agricultural tasks performed in more than 40,000 hectares of cane fields involve different processes, for example: sugarcane planting, cultivation and harvesting, also called “zafra”.

We use sugarcane to produce sugar (Azúcar Ledesma), alcohol and bioethanol. We also produce paper, copybooks and school spares from sugarcane fiber waste that is disposed after harvest. We use the corn we buy to third parties to produce syrup as glucose and fructose, which are the basis for sweet food and beverages. We also produce fruits and natural essential juice; and we are significant producers of meat and cereals. All our products are produced naturally, so we make big efforts in preserving our roots.
